Now Accepting Entries – Cursed Love Writing Contest

Happy Halloween! The Cursed Love Writing Contest is officially open. Submit your best 690 words on damned lovers for a chance to win $100 and publicity on my blog and social media profiles.

Be sure to check the rules before writing and entering your submission … and good luck!

Contest rules:

  1. Contest is open to all amateur and professional writers.
  2. Piece can me now more than a year old.
  3. Piece can not have won any other contests.
  4. Entrants must be 18 years or older.
  5. All genres are welcome excluding erotica and those with extremely graphic scenes, fetish themes, and/or overly-explicit language. Such entries will be disqualified at the discretion of the judges.
  6. Contest begins 10/30/2017. Entries will close on 2/14/2018.
  7. Winner will be announced 3/14/2018.
  8. Top five entries will be published on Shonda Brock’s websites and social media profiles.
  9. Winner will receive a VISA gift card in the amount of $100. If winner is outside North America, they will be given the equivalent in an Amazon eGift card.

I'm a southern in my heart and a northern in my soul. I've had a few bad wines, but for the most part I've enjoyed enough good wines that it makes up for the few bad bottles. I enjoy writing, but more than writing itself, I love telling a good story, taking my reader off on an adventure starting with "What If"…. I'm a sucker for the Paranormal Romance genre. To me, its nice to be released from "What Is Expected" and believe for 250 pages in "What If's".
