What if Tuesday: Would you go into space?

My stories are created for pure entertainment, to perhaps cause a smile, maybe a laugh, but mostly to take you away from the pressures of the moment to a fantasy and then safety returning home. No passports, no waiting in line, no lengthy layover or huge amount of money required for this journey. The only requirement is to believe in something more. Believe in the What if?

What if Tuesday is all about the what ifs. Every week I’ll post a hypothetical question that you can have fun with and answer. This week’s question is:

What if you were given the chance to go to space? Would you go into the unknown and risk never seeing all you know and love ever again? Why or why wouldn’t you go?

    Despite my love of action, adventure, and science fiction – I’d be the very LAST person to travel into space. Seriously, I’d have to close the shuttle door myself because there would be no one behind me.

    It’s the fear of the unknown that would keep me Earth-bound. Being totally dependent on technology for my very survival is not my idea of a good time.

    I’m sure it would be fascinating to experience the galaxy “up close”, but I’ll settle for satellite photos. 😉

    Nope. Just nope. I’m a big ole’ scaredy-cat. I detest flying in planes, no control over anything and I can’t do heights with my vertigo. Going higher and where I could float away without the ability to stop myself. Nope. Just nope. Lol. Would it be cool to see Earth? Yeah. Would it be worth it for me to see it? No. 😉
